Don Irvine:

Donald has been involved in the Financial Planning industry since 1988. Approximately 10 years ago, Donald started his own Financial Planning firm, Irvine Financial Inc. His dedication to building relationships with his clients provides personalized quality service that is beyond most expectations.

Donald has been the recipient of many of his industry's top achievement awards. To name a few, he is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and Court of the Table which is the ‘Premier Association of Financial Professionals’, an international, independent association of more than 3500 of the world’s best life insurance and financial service professionals, also the President’s Club, and has recently been acknowledged by WorldSource Financial Management Inc. (Donald’s mutual fund dealer) as one of WFM's top achievers in Canada.

On a more personal note, Donald and wife Karla live in North Nanaimo they have 5 children. They have a busy family life that includes many different community focused functions.

Donald is past President of the Nanaimo Oceanside Rotary Club, and a member of several professional business groups that promote Nanaimo and Vancouver Island.

Karla Irvine:

Karla and her family have lived in beautiful Nanaimo since 1964. Karla says they have enjoyed the pleasure of watching the Community grow into an exciting city desired worldwide.

Karla's education includes: Graduate of the University of British Columbia, Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration & Real-Estate Council of British Columbia; Graduate of Insurance Council of British Columbia; Office Administration & Bookkeeper.

Karla is an active member of: MBABC (Mortgage Broker Association of Canada); CAAMP (Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals; Foundation Member of Vancouver Island University; Toastmasters International and Business Networking International.

BJ Estes:

BJ Estes joined Irvine Financial in 2009 as a certified Life Insurance broker. Prior to working at Irvine Financial BJ owned and operated Estes Construction, a local residential framing company. Due to the fact that BJ is an extremely relational person he felt that being in the Life planning industry would be a better fit for him. He loves to have fun but knows how to take peoples futures seriously and is loving every second of Life planning. When you meet with BJ you will experience integrity and safety in his advice and approach to planning for your future.

BJ has been a resident of Nanaimo since 2000 and has a beautiful wife named Ruth. He is actively involved in the community and enjoys meeting new people. He is an outgoing person and a dynamic addition to our business. We are excited to have him join our team!

Jocelyn Postler

Jocelyn Postler joined our team from Vancouver Worldsource Financial Management. She has worked as a Mutual Fund Administrator as well as a Compensation Specialist for the last 10 years. Jocelyn specializes in Mutual Fund back office administration and has worked with some of the Top Financial Advisors in the industry, she knows all of the in's and out's of daily processing. She is currently working toward getting her diploma in Business Management from VIU as well as getting her Canadian Securities Designation.

Jocelyn is pleased to be a part of Irvine Financial Inc. and is looking forward to growing with this company and serving you.

Her personal interests are Boating, Snowboarding, Fitness, and of course Shopping!
